"Hearts in Harmony"
A Special Sensory-Friendly Concert
Dear Friends and Supporters,
At ConChord Music, our mission is to bring our community together and promote mental health awareness through the power of music. Over the past year, we have proudly organized nearly 20 music concerts for senior living centers and hosted a fundraising event for NAMI-Seattle, raising over $3,000.
Driven by our passion to make a broader impact, especially in support of autistic children and their families, we are excited to introduce our new initiative: the Special Concert Event Series, “Hearts in Harmony”. This series was inspired by the need for concerts specifically designed for autistic kids in the Seattle area.
Our first event is planned for late September, 2024, and we warmly invite you to join us. This concert will provide a sensory-friendly, inclusive experience where families can enjoy music in a welcoming environment. We hope you’ll be a part of this special occasion.
Thank you for your continued support!
Warm regards,
Michelle Cao

CONCHORD MUSIC is more than a group of young musicians in Seattle; we’re a non-profit with a mission—to promote unity, harmony, and mental health awareness through the transformative power of music.
Our journey began with a shared passion for music and a shared concern for the state of mental health in our communities. The statistics surrounding mental health issues in our region were staggering. Many individuals, young and old, were silently struggling with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. It became evident that mental health issues weren’t just personal struggles; they affected families, friends, and entire communities. The stigma surrounding mental health often prevented individuals from seeking help and finding the support they desperately needed. This is where we saw an opportunity to make a profound impact.
NAMI Seattle (https://namiseattle.org/), which stands for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, has been at the forefront of the battle to improve mental health care in the Seattle area since its inception. NAMI Seattle doesn’t just fill the gaps in our local mental health system; it bridges them with peer-led education, referrals, and unwavering support. For over four decades, NAMI Seattle has tirelessly worked to ensure that nobody faces these challenges alone.
Today, we come together to raise funds for NAMI Seattle through our ConChord Music Fundraising Concert. This event is not just about the notes we play or the songs we sing; it’s about the power of music to heal, to inspire change, and to foster unity. It’s about supporting an organization that has been a lifeline for so many in our community.
Join us in this harmonious journey to make a difference. Together, we’ll strike a chord for mental health and unity in our community.
